Barbara Leishman, of South Normanton, will be taking on the challenge in April in aid of the NSPCC.

The nine-day tag heuer replica trek will see the team of three cover about 12km a day.

Barbara said: "The knowledge that I'll be raising funds for the NSPCC to help prevent the suffering and abuse of children will spur me on. Hopefully, every step I take and every penny I raise will help create a safer, happier world for children."
