The BagBanco website will link buyers, sellers and women who may want to exchange or redeem their designer handbags in order to "green" their handbag investment. Kara Richter, CEO of From Bags To Riches, states, "Most women who buy designer handbags have an average of 15-30 bags sitting in their closet collecting dust. Like many luxury products a designer handbag is a good investment. They retain a large portion of their initial purchase price. This new service will turn designer handbags into a liquid cash asset and thereby allow woman to reinvest in a new one."

The bagbanco.com website, scheduled to launch in April, is not a consignment shop explains Richter. "We take a very different business approach to this market. Our clients will typically receive 80% or more of their original handbags purchase price. There are millions of designer handbags waiting to be greened, waiting to be bought and sold like any other blue chip security and BagBanco will be the vehicle that fulfills this untapped market."

From Bags to Riches is headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., and rents high-end designer handbags for a fraction of the retail cost. The company
embroidered patches was founded in 2004 by Kara Richter and Samuel Mangiere. More information about From Bags to Riches can be accessed at .
